Should I go barefoot? Im not saying that im going to all the time, because i love my Ipaths, but i like to walk around barefoot, i love the feeling of dirt between my toes, i love walking on gravel, and wet grass and well, come to think of it, everything (well not hot coals, i'll leave that to the pros). I guess I just answered my question. I think this summer, im going to do some barefoot hiking, its still chilly right now. If you go barefoot, why do you?

Number one, because it feels good. Period. Better than a hot stuffy shoe, and who can turn down a foot massage with every step? Or cool grass in the morning?

After that, I know it's healthier for my feet, and it's good to have a sense of what I'm walking on; That way, I feel more connected to the Earth, not insulated with rubber soles.

Yeah, I like to go barefoot because I love the feel. It is very comfortable. I feel confined wearing shoes and socks.
I especially like to walk barefoot on cold surfaces. I just went outside, and the concrete is very cold. It felt good. Now to the touch, my feet feel like ice cubes.:)

If I had things my way, Shoes and socks would be illegal.

I'm pretty sure you said that in jest, but still I wanted to respond.. I think that'd be just as wrong as people saying we can't be barefoot. We should really let everybody chose what they want to wear! :)

    NAhh... the hell with that...

Unfortunately life isn't that sugar coated, so when I run the ship, I will retort with making people do the opposite of what is considered normal.
