I had the most bizare dream last night and I can only remember disjointed bits and pieces, But at work, my boss decided to have a display of caged animals just beside my office (which is strange, bc we are a dinner theatre) and the poor animals were all really sick and uncomfortable, the chickens had been debeaked so they wouldn't peck at each other, and they just had bloody lips (which looks really freaky on a chicken). I was really upset and I told my boss he had to remove the animals and take them to a vet and my roommate who I work with was like "chill out... it's not a big deal, they're only chickens!" I was really pissed at her when I woke up!
if you're veg*n, this probably simbolizes that you want your roommate to become veg*n too. Either she's being ignorant about the debeaked chickens, and continues to eat them infront of you, or you're worried that, when you tell her, she'll ignore this fact.
