Donating Blood and Marijuana

This is perhaps a stupid question....buuuuut....

Every year the Red Cross comes to my school so that the students can give blood. I'd really like to do donate this year. However, every year, without fail, they come on the 21st of April. My question is, if you smoke pot the day before you donate (420), will they test your blood for THC or other substances and not be able to use it? It's doubtful whether I'll take part in 420 festivities anyways, but a lot of my friends will and the question always comes up. Any thoughts/answers?

 

I plan to donate blood when the time comes around at my school too. I know tons of kids that smoke pot and donate blood, so unless something funky is up with your school, I think it should be straight. If you can try talking to some older kids who went to your school that you know toked
