I'm falling for my best friend but....

so for the last few weeks or so I've been having feelings for one of my best friends well I've always thought he was hot but never really thought about going further then that but lately weve been seeing eachother everyday and if we dont see eachother we talk on the phone or send emails, heres the problem I'm kinda dating one of his good friends nothing serious but it is his friend, and he was once engaged to one of my friends so I'm wondering if I should totally steer clear of the situation and remain friends, or give it a try?
