In relation to Wicca, I do not personally have a problem with respect and admiration of nature. When we do not take care of elements that coexist within our universe, we learn the hard way that it will come back to haunt us. (i.e. the ozone layer, depletion of the rainforest, etc.) However, being a follower, I do believe that God created our universe.

In relation to Paganism, I disagree with the worship of many gods. However, I do find some rituals to be quite beautiful, such as hand fasting. When I was engaged, I had planned on incorporating a hand fast (though I know that it is used primarily as the wedding itself in Paganism) into my ceremony.

Well the whole Witch/pagan thing is so poorly defined in general that you will have to give us your interpretation before any meaningful response can be made. An easier thing to do would be to read the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John). Get a good idea of what Christ taught, what His personality and general dispostion were, what is idea about various spiritual parctices were. His teachings are almost always very clear and straight forward.

If you don't have a Bible handy here is a link to a site with full text versions of as many translations, revisions, etc. . . as you'll ever need. It also has the original greek. http://www.searchgodsword.com/

Haha, clever attempt. "Listen, pagan; I'm not sure what you're asking here. Why don't you go and read my holy scriptures, see what you think of them...." *cough cough*

Basically they think you're a sinner and you will be spending an eternity of endless suffering in HELL.

    Remember, God loves you.

    There. That was easy.

However, kinda weird when many stories in the bible are incredibly similair to accounts in pagan religions that were in existence way before christianity. Christianity took all these stories, put them together, and then destroyed accounts and evidence of the original pagan religions.

Thanks to catholicism, christianity has many roots in paganism. My family (the older generations, on the Irish side of my family anyway) are cletic christians, it is a blend of paganism and christianity that showed up around the time the early roman catholic church was pushing their religion around eurpoe.

I wass educated in a baptist school, however, and they taught us to believe that all pagans are Satan worshippers. MY parents (considering my family heritage) taught me otherwise so I never grew up thinking pagans were satan worshippers, let alone believed in satan at all.

In our oppinion they worship satan without knowing it, having demons do the job for them, using the Devil's power. Things like the Pentagram were mentioned back in the old testament as a sign of Satan (and the OT existed BEFORE Paganism.).

Satan is a deceiver, he tries to deceive people in believing lies. Satanists, for instance, say they worship themselves , without knowing they're truely worshipping satan (All Their commendmants, except one, contradict the Bible. The founder, Anton LaVey, which is also the name of the Satanistic Bible, was also called 'Lucifer',-the Devil's name. ). He deceives them without having them notice such obvious things.

Basically, he tries to get all the attention off of Jesus with, what we call, 'False' Doctrines.

    ...

    Crap!

I let the cat out of the bag....well, there's your answer...!:p

Sorry if i was offending, that's why I hesitated, because I couldn't state our views without being offending...

Paganism is as old as mankind. The Old Testament spoke out against the idol worship of the pagans in the surrounding areas (Canaan, Babylonia, Egypt, Syria, etc). Maybe you should read more than just "approved" christian propoganda/literature. You might at least learn who it is that is out there, populating the rest of the world.

The old Testament did talked about pagans. Put the neo pagans are the ones that use the pentagram. And yes, they did talk about the Egyptians, and their worship, including the plagues (proven to have existed) that they received from it.

When I used Pagans, I should have used neo-pagans. I appologize.
however, Judaism wasn't there all at once. It Gradualy increased, Idol worship also appeared by ONE individual BEFORE the whole Egypt story. Then they started talking about it, just then when the guy started worshipping.

    That's not true...

And this isn't just a matter of opinion, it is plain historical fact.

The plagues WERE proven, according to ancient hieroglyphs.
The red sea crossing has proof behind it too.
