just a note to say hello to you all....im here to get website reveiws and meet new peolpe of a similar thought to myself. Please take a look and tell me what you think. We sell nepalese knitwear in bright colours www.gourangaoo4u.co.uk
it doenst say anywhere about whether the items are fairtraded or not. just out of curiosity, how much of the £35 for a jumper actually goes to the nepalese, and how much lines someone elses pocket? i think the jumpers look very beautiful but are quite expensive. if i knew that a fair chunk of the money was going out to the people who made them though i would be alot more likely to buy one.
http://www.gourangaoo4u.co.uk/product info.html there you go stardust...thats all the infomojo they seem to give about its poduction tho
hmm but then again a lot of things are like that, theres nowt on that site that you couldnt buy in a shop...so you know ah well
Hmmm, it's always good to be cautious about these kind of things. I've asked around about handcrafted Nepalese clothes. Generally they're relatively ethical, at least not made in a sweatshop, they're not mass marketed enough for that....
