    it doenst say anywhere about whether the items are fairtraded or not.

    just out of curiosity, how much of the £35 for a jumper actually goes to the nepalese, and how much lines someone elses pocket?

    i think the jumpers look very beautiful but are quite expensive. if i knew that a fair chunk of the money was going out to the people who made them though i would be alot more likely to buy one.

    Good point

    Unless it has the Fairtrade label I don't think it's worth the risk maybe.

    hmm but then again a lot of things are like that, theres nowt on that site that you couldnt buy in a shop...so you know

    Hmmm, it's always good to be cautious about these kind of things. I've asked around about handcrafted Nepalese clothes. Generally they're relatively ethical, at least not made in a sweatshop, they're not mass marketed enough for that....
