Don't be too down on it ... it's just a game. I liked the way the commentator said "Brilliant!" when Zidane's free-kick went in - rightly so, it was great!Not a hint of hesitation, just admiration for great sportsmanship. (And this was ITV.)

It might well serve as a focus for our hatred of a certain kind of pig-headed nationalism, I hate the st george's flags everywhere for that reason, but it's just a game, and sometimes a very dramatic and exciting one. Well done France!

 

I fucking hate football ... so much hype for nothing. Those England car flags mad: ) burn really well by the way!
