I had a random dream last night about my boss, well ex-boss. I had to stop working for him when school started because the college I attend is 3 and a half hours from my home town. Anyway, my former boss is young, he's like 23. In my dream I had just started working there again (I'm going to work there again this summer) and he had his arm around me telling me what a wonderful worker I was. He continued to go on and on about how glad he was that I was going to be working for him again. All the while he was whispering in my ear...and then the alarm clock went off. Could I have had this dream because I don't really want to work there again this summer? I'm not good at finding the meanings of my dreams.
Hi Shell, here is a suggestion. Maybe it is not so much about finding a meaning of the dream but about finding a place inside from where you see and hear with more clarity, and do not feel distracted by the seducing voices and illusions created around, but see and act from a place of inner trust ... and not compromise yourself and not be in your own way, no matter how the others behave. Be your own best co-worker ... be your own best meaning. All the others we meet on the many roads of life are like mirrors to gaze deep into our own selfes so that we may become aware of the wonder of being here, and what this means to our daily living. And each of us holds the potential to know, and in this we are all equal. I think in the end, and the beginning too, it is all about full acceptance of the self and the freedom that is yours to do so ... the desire to become who you already are while you are changing on. Sometimes it looks like work, sometimes like a summer job. Sometimes it looks like decisions to be made and wondering which new lessons they will bring and mirrors to gaze at. But you decide from where to listen and to look. So ... who is the boss.
