chicks

I like the word chick! I don't understand why anyone would be offended by being called one quite honestly. It's rather cute!

 

I llike that word, "chick"...not at all offensive to me...what I do kind of mind is some of my younger friends calling me "dude"...I don't know why, but it gets on my nerves...I know that it is a popular greeting amongst 20-30 folks, but it feels kind of unfeminine to me (even though they don't mean it that way)...."chick" though, is fine with me!

I don't know if it's true, but I always thought that the word "chick" came from the word "chic" which means "fashionable" and "elegant". It just makes more sense than it coming from the name of a small bird

 

I think like all words it is a matter of the context it is used in. Not a horrible word, if said with affection, but by a drunken man "going to pick up chicks" yuck.

 

I love the word chick. Sometimes I don't know whether to call my friends girls or women, so I call them chicks!!

I don't think anyone has ever minded.

 

The word Chick is not an offensive word.. I love being called a chick ...

 

i have no problem with being called a chick. there are far worse things to be called than that

 

Some women find being called a chick offensive. Do some guys think being called a hunk offensive? Personally, I like honey or hon better then chick, but thats me.
