Do women really hate men with hairy backs?

From what I've heard it seems like all women hate men with hairy backs. Is this true, or do some women not mind?

It seems odd to me that women would be repulsed by something completely natural. Loads of blokes I see in the changing rooms at my gym have hairy backs. There is definitely nothing 'abnormal' about it.

The other reason I ask is that as I get older, I'm starting to get a few hairs near the top of my back. It's not very noticable yet but I think it may get thicker as I get older (I'm 28 now). I was wondering about having them removed in the future, to make myself more attractive. But is this necessary? Any thoughts?

 

I don't think it's a huge issue, unless the guy looks like a gorilla. I dated a guy who had long black hairs growing out of his shoulders.....that's does sound gross now that I type it out...

Just to be fair, men hate women's bodies, and prefer women to shave off any hairs, most men adore pre-pubescent little girl bodies with no armpit hair, leg hair, etc... Not All men of course, but I can say it's true for north american culture. I'm entirely sick of it, but whatever, I think all men should shave off all thier hair, or better yet, wax it off, just for a glimpse into the efforts some women go to look nice. As for an answer, hairy is different from hair, and hair is fine with me. if its dense like a forest it's a turnoff to me, but if my soulmate magically turned out to be a guy, I wouldnt mind if he was hairy all over.

 

i'm sorry but i don't like hairy backs. but on girls i don't like hairy legs. but its only cus i love skin, yay!

Not all men prefer women with hairless bodies. Some prefer hairless, some prefer hairy. I like both personally. There may be a general preference for hairless, but there are many who prefer the opposite. And no man would say that a woman with pubic hairs was ugly or unattractive, and he certainly wouldn't be put off a woman just because of her body hair.

With men's backs it's different because no women like hair there, they all would rather it be smooth. And it is a big deal to women, and it would put a woman off.

Maybe, but my point is that most men will touch a woman with a hairy ****, whereas most women will not touch a man with a hairy back.

The hairy back seems to be way more offputting than any hair on a woman, and I'm curious why that is.

 

i dont have any hair on my back chest or arms ........years ago more girls were not shaved everywhere .......i probably prefer the natural thing , but with girls , they could paint themselves purple n it wouldnt matter .....im just a hapless mamillian critter driven by hormones n feremones .

 

Maybe they won't refuse to have sex with them, but they will make comments, make a women feel obligated to shave. Make a gal feel bad about not having shaved her legs that very day because she has a day or two of stubble (my ex commented on my legs a couple times, said they were scratchy. Of course, he didn't shave his face when I asked, and ended up giving me a bit of rugburn after going down on me... freakin hell that hurt)

anyways... I don't hate back hair, but I would much rather have a guy without it. Because I love kissing touching rubbing and massaging a guys' back, and kissing hairy areas is not at all erotic for me.

 

now if somebody does shave and has stubble ......wether its my face or your pussy ....[i like that idea ]then uncomfortable scratchies are an issue .....all or nothing at all for tactile comfort

 

I'll be honest, hairy backs grosses me out. I mean yah obviously most men who have gone through puberty (which are the only ones we should be messing around with!) have *some* body hair, right? So that's fine and dandy. But it's gross when a guy takes of a shirt, and it looks like he's wearing another shirt underneath made of hair. (that goes for the chest, too). I'm just not a big body-hair person.

 

I don't mind a guy with some hair on his back...a lot..like really thick, is a turn off though.

But I've never been one to go for looks...so...*shrugs*

 

My back's fairly hairy + I've never had a woman comment adversely about it- it's there + I'm not going to get rid of it! If somebody doesn't like it, then that's their problem not mine. I certainly don't expect women to shave for me, infact I find it much sexier if they don't shave, though that's their choice, I can tell them my preference, then it's up to them. No point making somebody unhappy with their self-image.

 

When I was in high school I had a normal amount of arm hair, some chest hair, and no hair on my back or shoulders.

Just as I was getting finished with college, I started to get some hair on my shoulders, and then as years have gone by I have gotten more hair on my shoulders and back. YES, I would prefer to not have it, because YES I perceive that more women dislike it than like it. And it seems almost as though the best you can hope for is for a woman to tolerate it, but you're never gonna find a woman who is all like, "Yeah, I'm hot for him and part of it is he has this great hair on his back!"

I use a clipper shaver to keep it in check, but it's there.

I have never been turned off by stubble on a girl's legs (even easier to tolerate if it's blonde). I have no problem with a girl having pubic hair. I know one girl who has plenty of it, a lot actually, and it even goes back by her asshole, and still I am hot for going down on her. She has armpit hair and leg hair, but really it's her attitude of uninhibitedness and animal magnetism that really turns me on about her. She's so much fun to do sex stuff with! She makes me feel like a wild, sex-crazed animal that wants to devour her, so it means that her hair is kind of part of the turnon.

yes, yes,, yes. sry but i find it disguisting, i dont know why but ive always hated hairy backs, really alot of hair period, arms, and def alot of chest hair and underarm hair, so gross. hairy legs arent that bad and the only thing i dont pay much attention.

 

I don't mind hairy bodies at all...on men or women. In fact, I love body hair. It doesn't matter how much hair either. Hair is beautiful to me becaues it's a symbol of maturity and vitality, to me. So, to answer the question...no, not all women hate body hair.

My girl, Sweetfaery, has no problems with my body hair- and i am covered in it: back, chest, legs, arms, balls. Yet strangely I dont have much under my arms.
