I'd love to give you some tips.. okay so first! welcome! and good luck on your newfound journey. Well where to start.. okay! Where did you get the dread kit from? Its fine to use some of the material from the kit. after all its designed for backcombing dreadlocks (though i don’t recommend buying them "Waste of money") Any way I would suggest using the comb and the shampoo.. You wont need to use any rubber bands (unless you wish to section your hair off) other then that they just hinder the locking process. So ill give you a link to knotty boys backcombing method.. (its generally what every one does) OH and how could I forget (((NEVER EVER USE WAX))) and im sure that the dread kit you have came with some wax in it.. probably the main product of advertisement... well you can make some candles with it or something.. cause that’s what the wax is good for….. not in your hair. here is your link to backcombing: http://www.knottyboy.com/learn/stepbystep.php GOOD LUCK, Good to meet you! Blessings & love
Okay i think i came off a little hard on the wax... (SOME people have had a good experience with a EXSTREEMLEY limited amount of wax in the beginning) but i wouldn’t recommend it
