I've been walking in the streets with an umbrella for protection from the sun for years. My dad finally noticed and hollared, "It's not raining!" He made such a big deal even going so far as to make me feel like I was mentally ill and no one else in the whole world ever used an umbrella to block the sun. Well I have a news flash. Here is a picture. I guess I'm not the only one out there looking crazy anymore lol.
Wow, I seriously have never seen anyone in my neck of the woods with an umbrella when it hasn't been raining! Not that what you're doing is odd, because you're protecting your skin, but, I have honestly never seen anyone do that where I live.
I think its Ok when you wear an umbrella whether it rains or not. It was even fashionable to wear a "sun umbrella" 'till about 1900
First of all that's not me that's the lady model. Secondly, that's a sunbrella with uv protection and they didn't know about uv rays in the 1900's. Yellow is a bit much but I can live with it I guess. I like yellow clothes sometimes.
