This past year at my junior PROM me and a friend who have a fetish with the Rocky Horror Picture Show did the "Time Warp" dance there to almost every song! And we got looks and comments. I was curious if anyone thinks this was stupid of us? But we were just having fun, trying to groove to our own thing rather than the samn ass-groping and crotch-rubbing of the rest. Thanks. love. chelsea
What difference would it make whether or not I think it's stupid? Did you have fun? Cause that's all that matters.
Yea it was pretty fun...though the theme sucked and there was a few fights other than that...it was fine.
I very much agree with this sentiment. My prom was so lame (and I knew it would be, I just wanted to wear my dress) and so I pretended like I was drunk for some of it, and slept during the rest.
My friend and I went to Paris together and on the plane ride back, she woke me up and said 'Let's do the Time Warp.' She jumped up in the isle and started singing and I didn't want to leave her hanging...
the only reason i wouldnt like that, is cause i just simply hate the rocky horror picture show.....other than that, i wouldve understood and let you do your thing
In the eyes of some, yeah, you were stupid. But in the eyes of others, you were beautiful. In the eyes of others, you went unnoticed, and in the eyes of everyone else you were judged accordingly. too many people out there to impress... keep the eyes on you.
Hahaha that's great! I would have loved it... And I probably would have joined you guys after I finished my bad disco dancing!
I had my truck and camper back then soo a lot of us go out side to have a little party you see till the cop's show up and then it was over the party move from there to my friend dad house no cop's show up there
lol, it sounds cool course you weren't stupid, you had fuuuun!!! didn't harm anyone, you had fun, it's a win win situation
Screw what everyone else thinks...you rocked out... and just think .. you will forget/never see again about 95% of the people you went to high school with anyways!!
Those dances are becoming so stupid, that usually me and my date hangs out in the other room and talk about anything. That's basically what I did, at my Sophomore Dance, and Junior Prom, but I danced way more at my Junior Prom, than I did at my Sophomore Dance (which was none at the sophomore dance). Rocking out is what's important. Everybody else is just insecure.
i think thats awesome. if you had fun, then thats great. who cares what other people thought. the people who were giving you looks probably were wishing they were more creative like you.
