well its true, if people give you bad rep it means they dont like what youre saying, if they give you good rep it means they like what you're saying

but yet gerties right dont worry about it

why do you worry so much about what people think about you why does this site have that reputation thing anyway. It's like everything everywhere is a popularity contest :(

i dont view it as a popularity contest

in real life if you have a problem with somebody, telling them is going to help both of you

if you have something you want to compliment someone on or criticize them on in private, that's what the rep system is for, in my opinion

sure, people abuse it, but people are always going to abuse everything

personally i think we should all be taking what people say with an open mind, if someone tells you you're being an asshole and not thinking about other people's feelings, dont take offense to it, rather take a step back and look out how you're acting, with an unbiased mind

but karma works more than just telling someone that you agree or disagree with their opinion... it can work that way, but it can also work as ways for ppl to attack others without having to take responsibility for their words as it would occur in real life, face to face. (or even messaging.)

I think the whole rep thing on this site is a rather idiotic idea. I'm sorry, but
I don't require constructive criticism, nor do I want any. It's just a damn forums site, and so far nothing HAS been constructive. I'm sorry, but when someone gives me negative rep for my post "I dont understand the point of negative rep" and they write "You petty little bitch" and don't sign their name, wtf?

It doesn't matter though. Everything is all 1's and 0's, and we'll all die some day.
