k, i'm about to buy a very dry ounce of weed, it's very very caked, but it's HELLA dry, u guys know any cure to making it better and not as dry? i was thinking of maybe using a spritz bottle and misting all the bud, then throwing it into my freezer for a while, but i dont know... anyone have any suggestions?
this will work like a charm, garaunteed! eat an orange, a lemon, a lime, a grapefruit, tangerine, any citrus fruit with that type of peel. cut off a peice of the peel about 1X1 inch and put it in the sack of weed overnight and then remove it. for such a large amount you may want a little more peel or you may want to mix it up every few hours to rehydrate the weed more evenly; but be careful because there's more water in an orange peel than you'd think and you don't want soggy weed. if you do this too much or for too long, it may be prone to molding, so be careful. but it will help to freshen up your weed, give it a refreshing citrus smell, and even fluff it up a bit.
I'll agree with nesta on that one! Another option i've used when i had no oranges, and wanted a quick fix. Spread out the weed on a metal or glass sheet in the bathroom. Turn the shower on hot as a mother fucker for about 15-20 minutes, good and steamy, will moisten up the weed a little bit. I wouldn't call this the best fix, but it is a quicker fix!
as colours asked, whats wrong with dry weed? it crumbles/cuts up easier, burns easier, and always seems to get me more stoned.
oh, quit being a bitch and take that smoke like a man!! Keep the pot in an airtight container if you don't want it to dry out. And if you're buying that way, all the better for you so you're not paying anything for water weight. I like to keep it semi fresh, but I have no problem smoking really dry weed because it burns so nicely.
Oranges and citrus fruits are okay but if i've found that nice fresh bread is A LOT better cause the 'zing' of the orange can work it's way into the bud, making it taste a little different, no biggie if you're not a connoisseur but another problem with oranges is that if you leave the peel in with the herb too long, the herb will actually start to grow mold... barely noticeable but makes your weed taste like shit. I personally would much rather buy weed that was moistened with bread compared to fruit. Do an experiment and try both, see if you can tell the difference...
ya i like dry weed but lots dont. i use apple peeles like others were saying. i find apple puts the least amout of flavor into ur weed but dry weed rolls smokes and cuzs better but u go trough it faster
i seriously dont understand ppl who say they like dry weed....IMO if u are saying that, u have never smoked excellent weed before when the da kine smoke shop was open in vancouver they sold bud over the counter, i picked up a gram of Voodoo from them, and have never had better bud in my life, u could take the fattest inhale and not cough, and it would get u more ripped than the rugged dry shit u guys are talking about.
um... i get great weed but i usally leave my baggy open overnight i dont like it like powder dry but i dont like it when its sticky and dosent cut nice
*points at another proverbial cock size post* who gives a flyin flipper.... if it get the person high who cares if its dry or moist... its like someone who preferes one beer over another... they'll both get ya drunk.. its a matter of ones taste.... personally i like my weed a lil moist but not too moist to where it wont stay lit.. but then again i dont care if it drys out either.... it gets me high thats all that matters!!!!! but yea.... like everyone else is saying just add a peal of some sort of fruit and it'll moisten it up.. and give it a fruity smell too... yay for fruity smell
with dry you dont have to hold a lighter over the bowl for as long and the pot stays lit. thats why i like it. If the smokes too strong for your throat, you might want to invest in a vaporizer.
I think dry weed burns too fast increasing the quantity of smoke you get per hit, making it alot harsher? I prefer on the moister side so it goes down smoother and easier, yes I can take the dry harsh shit, but why kill the throat when I don't need to!
