As long as its not Tap water, Tap water contains alot alot alot of lead where i live so its not wise to drink too much or you could get sick
if its natural water then your fine.

i can't really say if your drinking too much water. hyponatremia - "water intoxication" which means a low concentration of sodium. to tell if you have this, we would have to take in consideration your body weight, what you eat adn so on. Hyponatremia is attributed to a lot of people who are marathoners, Iron Man contestants, military personal. the routines you do marathons, iron man's and military training and others with around the same intensity of training and competition could lead to hyponatremia. its pretty rare to get. if you don't do that above activities, i wouldn't worry that much.

a lot of the food we eat contains a good amount of water, so you might be drinking more than you really need. but, the food you eat adds sodium, which curbs hyponatremia. as long as you get electrolytes in your system daily, such as sodium i wouldn't worry. if you want to take the risk out and not have to worry about it much...this is what i do when i am really active.

this is before a workout and training - i use gatorade (you can use anythign of the likes of gatorade), but i don't drink the whole thing. i dilute it in water. so for a 1 liter bottle, i would put a 1/4 liter of gatorade and the rest would be water. this takes out the sugar boost you would get from drinking the whole bottle of gatorade, but you still get the nutrients. i also try and have a banana

after training - i use 50/50 of gatorade and water. then i have a PB&J sandwich, cuz i love them.

Salts are only lost through sweating and not urination. So unless you are vigorously exercising, hyponotremis does not apply. Nice try though.

Sumthing exciting: drinking a galon of water when you wake up in morning(if u sleep) and then you'll actually crap most of the water out and clean out your entire digestive track. Drinking a ton of water is a reccomended action for internal cleansing.
The salt was a good idea though. pure sea salt is best. You can read about water cleansing at www.curezone.com

I have no idea. I have to be more worried about NOT drinking enough. My brother drinks a lot of water and he thinks he drinks a lot because he has some kind of weird disease (he's insane). But in reality, it's just because he drinks a lot of alcohol and eats a lot of salt.

    Water is good for you.

The only way it could possibly be unhealthy is if you drink an unreasonable amount in a really short period of time, but that rarely happens. But make sure it's filtered or spring water.

Guzzling unreasonable ammounts of water(it feels really uncomfortable for a moment) is actually good but only if you have an empty stomach. It just flushes right through your system.
Drinking water with food in the stomach is not always a good idea because then instead of flushing it it treats it as a food and dilutes digestive enzymes.

Humboldt bay water is pretty good too. It has such a nice yellowish-green color, definitely makes the water more tasty. And all the nice metals such as lead and mercury. Ah, good stuff.
