Now, the keyword here is "almost." So keep that in mind. To build up the story a bit, My shoudler area >rhomboid/trapezius< has been hurting for about 3 weeks now. Instead of doing anything at all about it, I simply brushed it off. I worked myself through the pain because it was bearable....until I pulled it even worse at a soccer game. I couldn't play the second half, nor could I play at the game the next day. It has grown worse and worse, and has stiffened during my slumber. How then did I solve this? After the game my mom took me to the hospital. They told me what I already knew. So, it was a complete waste, as I knew it would. >And the nurse was such a bitch to me< I did, however, get a heating pad to help it loosen up...which didn't work out too smoothly. Tomorrow I am going to therapy. Nehoo..This morning, As I was taking my shower, I was so imobile it was taking me way to long. Shampooing, soaping, all that was too painful for me to ever attempt. The pain got so horrible..that I considered calling my mom to come help me. But..I figured that this what be much too awkward, so I worked myself through it and it took me about double the time. It hurts even worse tonight..and the sad thing is that there is nothing I can do about it. I can honestly say that this is one of the worst things that could happen to someone. I have to breathe really shallow because It constricts my breathing. I can't get a big enough breath to satisfy my lungs and it drives me crazy. Even worse, I keep sneezing and having to blow my nose >allergies I suppose< It puts a lot of pressure on my shoulder, and I have to muster the strength to even think about attempting to blow my nose. It's such a miserable situation. If anyone has had something similar to this, how long does it take to heal? Perhaps I destoryed a nerve?
