is there anyone that enjoys traveling through the wildersness, in a nomadic tribe, and attending different gatherings?? i think it sounds like a really great adventure to live like the old ways, and travel around this beautiful country, living harmoniously with nature.
Its a great thing, i did it alot of last year starte off my pilgrimage with Ocala '04 and lived lovely untill september. I'm trying to decide if i want to go to school once i get off of probation or start running the rainbow trail again -Loki
I travelled many miles. Its still not like settler days or nothing you still have to use money but its alot more freeing than city life. But the old ways its not.But rainbow is worth it anytime, little hard on youre mind sometimes.Iwas traveling around for about ten years and rainbow is where I call home for sure...I have traveled with kitchens and with camps. Its worth the experience and the family you will meet ...
with out a doubt there is alot of kids moe hardcore than me though I used to travel alot by backpack. It's funny, now I work, have all great gear for backpacking, I don't seem to use it to much. Well, I plan to eventually use it maybe at the nationals when they roll around the east coast mid atlantic. peace
I am thinking internationals there gonna be in the states for the fisrt time but yeah my backpack is longing to go somewhere I have stoped for a little while but you know how it goes you cant really stop going
How can someone who is interested in travelling by backpack find some travelling companions? How does set out along this path?
I hope all you beautiful people come to nationals. It is freeing being on the road, living if not harmoniously with nature at least not at odds with it. We do our best, but the big brown beast of a van we have, and the job I do on the internet, are essential to making it work. So for us is a permanent address in Utah. We're on day 4 of our adventure and have been approached by cops 3 times now, twice in a nice way where they are as eager to learn about what we are doing as the hip folk we come across. We've picked up one backpacker from this forums and he has been a real blessing. We may pick up more at the hot springs regional here so we can all share the burden of Babylon on our way from rainbow to rainbow. Loving you
Best way to hook up with folks is to just show up at the nearest regional or national. Throw some love & kindness around & you'll figure out who to travel with..... Let the universe be your guide!
When you travel, it just happens. You meet beautiful people all over the place. If your intentions are pure and you need a travel buddy odds are someone else does too. Don't seek one out. You'll find eachother. This is the rainbow forum, but you don't need to go to a gathering to find a road dog. Set off by yourself, if you think you can and you'll find someone real quick I bet.
