This is a thread to celebrate the special love, the forbidden love of Charles and Camilla... post your celebratory messages of celebration and congratulation for the special love, the forbidden, the forgotten love.
hahahahahahahahaYour friggin bonkers showmet... I will be watching on saturday..a lot more fun than the first marriage.. God i hated diana.
My opinion of you just increased exponentially. Let's crack out an old 'un in her memory, eh? ------- Diana arrives at the gates of heaven. There to great her is the Queen Mum. "Oooh" says the Queen Mum. "You must've done really good deeds during your time on Earth, Di. That's a massive halo you've got there!". "Don't be fucking clever, Queen Mum", says Di. "You know it's a fucking steering wheel".
I'm actually happy for them. They're in love, let them have their love. I might want to abolish the monarchy, but I don't want to get rid of human emotions....
Uhhhhh.... yeah, and so was Hitler. Sorry, I didn't see anything particularly special about Diana. Just a carefully crafted media image that most of the British public were stupid enough to fall for. Quite aside from which, the upper class are my class enemy and I'll joke about them as much as I like, thank you very much.
Nope, I have to disagree. That's like saying someone's an ex-Nazi because the Nazi party gets outlawed. They're non-practising fox hunters
I was taking a piss when princess Diana died, That is the most memorable thing I have about her (yes time difference is taken into account) maybe it's because I'm a damned american, I was never impressed with anything but that she was anti land mine, but lots of people ars, luke and laura's wedding still out did theirs
ditto. i agree with the doc about her being all media crafted etc but i dont think thats bad enough to joke about a dead person. peace and love stardust xxx
I doubt it really matters to her if she's dead. But seriously..... what's the problem? Why shouldn't we find humour in death?
Also, being told what not to make jokes about just makes me want to make jokes about that very thing... personally I don't think there is anything that should be out of bounds to humour. Why should anyone be afraid of ideas?
I have exactly the same reaction. I've frequently told jokes with the specific intent of offending people - usually those people who're incapable of laughing at themselves and take life far too seriously. We should always be able to find humour in a situation, however dark.
