I'm sorry, I know I'm the moderator of this forum but I have to confess I was too lazy to check more than 5 pages to see if anyone had already posted a thread about this movie. I know, it's bad - but not an example to follow! :p

So, I loved that movie, or should I say, those vignettes. I should check out more Jarmuch (sp?) movies, I hear they're all pretty good.

But Coffee & Cigarettes was really, really good, my favorite vignettes were the Cate Blanchett, the White Stripes and Iggy Pop/Tom Waits ones.

everyone i know hated this movie. I loved it, AWSOME writing. My favorites were Roberto Begini & steven wright, "Delerium" with bill murray, RZA, GZa, the iggy pop and tom waits one, and the tesla coil with meg and jack.

Hey, glad to hear good reviews, I just picked up the DVD at HMV for 10 bucks, but haven't watched it yet. I've been dying to see it since I saw the trailer, can you get a better or more diverse cast then that? I can't wait! :D

The two old men at the end is the greatest way to end a film.

The movie had it's moments, but for me it is just too minimal. I think it's boring.

Definately a good movie. It's getting harder and harder to find good indy film. But this has resurrected my faith in the underground.

Jim Jarmusch is really good at making film. Y'all should check out Ghost Dog too. It's damn good.

yeah, I thought it was fantastic. from the little red wagon to alfred molina - wow, it was just awesome.

It so glorfies coffee and cigarettes, but meh, i can live with that if it gives us movies of this quality.

I loved how each movie had small things that tied it to the others, whether it was the checkered tables or just the whole back/coffee and white/cigarettes thing.

Penny, I tend to cruise the first two pages and then if I KNOW a thread is there, combine them. I assume you will combine threads when some smart #$$ brings it up to the top?
