help me figure out what i want to do with my life

here is the deal. i dont want an average job. i dont want to work in an office. what i want most is to be able to travel the globe working for myself, buying certain goods from a country and selling them to another. my current idea is to buy opals cheap from australia and have them fashoined into pendants, then sell them in auction or on consignment.

any thoughts?

I say if you want to do it, go for it. I'm in the same boat as you as far as not wanting to work in some office at some average job. Take a chance, do what you want.

I think doing what makes him/her happy and brings joy to his/her life is pretty meaningful.

 

Maybe, but they are asking for suggestions...and that just doesn't sound very fulfilling.

go back to school foe an international buisness degree i knoe someone who just has a ba in it an travels all over europe for her job.

when I figure out what I want in my life, I'll start thinking about yours. Until then, you should follow your heart. Doing something just because you 'should' will never bring you happiness.

That is called being a buyer you can be it but you have to go to college for it. You could also try to get a job in the travel industry. Ask soem sort of job coach or guidence counciler...hugs gilli

 

Do something crazy. If it doesn't work, you can still go back to school and you'll be more interesting than anybody else on campus.

i know a guy who travels back and forth from toronto to peru. he travels all over south american though, but mostly brings all these goodies back from peru and sells them in his shop.
