my hunny and i are both very tiny people and would like to put on a few pounds. anyone have any advice to put on a little bit of weight in a healthy way? my bf needs it more than i do. he's 6' tall and weighs only 125lbs!!! it has been a lifelong struggle for both of us.

well for every 3500 calories you take in thats a 1 pound you gain. So double it, i guess.

Try to eat a lot of foods with a lot of calories, but healthy calories - like peanut butter.

eat more food...but try to spread your food intake throughout the day. so try having like 5-6 meals a day. i'd say get up and over 6000 calories a day.

but the thing is, unless your doing some sort of exercising, your not gonna put muscle mass on, its gonna be fat. so you don't want to be just eating food and lazing (is that a word? but don't be lazy) so i would add some fitness program to help gain some muscle.

we are both in great shape physically....we get lots of exercise.......yoga, pilates, walking, working outside in our yard, and many more activities......maybe we're destined to be scrawny forever *sigh*

Just make sure to eat plenty of protein, and natural fats... Some weightlifting can't hurt either. :D Sounds like you both have some super fast metabolisms, so you'll really have to eat a lot..
