On the "mixed race children being cuter" bit: You know, children are beautiful no matter what. Go tell all the AA children floundering in the U.S. foster care system (www.adoption.com) that they're not as beautiful as biracial children and that's why they don't have a home yet. I know it wasn't meant to be offensive, but that comment really turned my stomach.

Yeah I would prefer to date someone outside my race... doesnt really matter... latin/black/asian... they all look so exotic and sexy. asian girls seem to usually only date asian men though... they are all very shy around me... ive had a few african girls hit on me before though... and that isnt counting you, brown suga.

i would definatly go out with someone from a different race. most guys im attracted to are spanish or indian, i used to think id have issues with likeing other races, but the connection just makes you forget stupid things your friends say

 

I'm white and engaged to a white girl, but assuming I was single then race wouldn't bother me at all. If I really liked someone, male or female, it wouldn't matter if they were a green five headed lizard from Alpha Centauri. Actually, going out with an Alpha Centaurian would probably be pretty fun.

 

I never have but if I liked him, of course, we're all people no matter what race.

 

I've dated many white guys, one Filipino, one Peruvian, one biracial (white and African American), one Latin American guy, one African American guy, and have flirted with many other races...

Men are beautiful in general...and a mix up of cultures is always fun and interesting.

 

I've been friends with a few single black guys -not even really dated them, but even then, I already ran into cultural differences. I find a relationship with most white guys too restricting already, every relationship I've been in I've ran & broke it off as soon as it got serious... and on the whole (yes, not every individual, but generally speaking) in my experience white guys in Europe & the US are most liberal-minded when it comes to equality & freedom within a relationship...
About 10-12 years ago, when I was in my early twenties, I got briefly involved in a reach-out program for political refugees, *not* a dating service but just local people of all ages who met with the new arrivals to show them around town, help them a bit with the language and stuff like that. Within a few weeks, I'd had trouble with two guys who just could not believe a 20-year old single woman would actually *want* to remain single, and I wasn't interested in a relationship... I never made any advances, didn't flirt, didn't wear revealing clothing, didn't go out with them to any bars or movies, just visited & talked about both our cultures and stuff like the older and/or married volunteers did. Yet I had to leave there because they both were all over me, first one and then immediately afterwards the other. So I'm a bit wary of getting into a relationship with someone from a completely different *culture*, any 2nd generation person from a different race who's cool with the way most of us here view relationships, men & women being fairly equal and all, well, if I ever get into a relationship again I wouldn't avoid anyone by race alone. But I think it'd have to be someone who grew up here and not in any of those countries where womens' rights are still less advanced than here, that just didn't work well at all!

Well Myranya i am going to disagree with you a bit and the fact that women have less rights can be good in someways, i mean you see the effects of having to many rights like in the USA? Do you know why divorce rates are so high? Its because women can get a divorce for stupid reasons such as they are just sick of the partner or whatever. Preferably id prefer an asian woman that is not americanized meaning they just came here from some asian country and still have the cultural difference because then if u are a nice guy they really like it since its something they are not used to, but u try that with american women and theyd walk all over you. Sometimes it works to use what someone is not used to if ya get my drift?

Racism exists, big time, I thought my last partner and I got treated shitty, but it appears that in Canada, it is more acceptable to show overt disgust towards Natives, cuz it sure happens a lot.

I have dated lots of white girls, and I don't have any preference at all, it just worked out this way lately, and taught me a lot about how blind myself and basically everyone I knew was to the racism they had and everyone else has. It is alive and well, round here anyways.
