I can't read right now, I thought it said 6800. You could have gone with a Radeon. It seems to be the card of choice for cards of that class.
Meh, if you're playing mostly DX9 games, a Radeon would have been a better choice. I dunno, I've been using NVidia for years and have yet to have a problem with 'em.
Radeons seem to preform better, I think. Although, with Doom3 coming out, and being built on an Nvidia system, I think for at least Doom3, Nvidia would be better.
Personally, I'll wait until Half-Life 2 comes (you know, in 5 more years or so) to upgrade. And yes, Half-Life 2 > Doom3.
*lmfao* It's simple, really; if you want to play DX9 games (NFS: U2, Unreal Tournament 2KKX), you'll want a Radeon...if you play mostly Open-GL-based games (DIII...what else?), you'll want an NVidia. Both are equal, and whilst they come out at different times with higher benchmarks, any game should be equally enjoyable with different GFX cards. Don't buy into the hype, buy what you want, when you want, and for how much you want it. Let me guess, you're running an AMD chip and have something from MSI connected to your Mobo? Me too.
