so i got a bag of pretty decent weed the other day and i noticed it had about 4 or so seeds in it (i know sounds like it contridicts itself but it was good stuff). i have had this bonsai tree growing kit at my window sitting there i used to maintain before i realised nothing would ever grow, so i put the seeds in the little plastic dish, added water and opened the blinds, not really expecting much because i had done something similar before to no avail. so i forgot about them and woke up thismorning to find two sprouts, one about 2 and a half inches tall and the other about one and a half.

so i have a few questions about what i should do and when.

the bonsai kit also came with a porcelain pot that is about 3 times bigger than the little plastic pan. at what size should i transfer the plant(s) to the other pot? and i dont want my parents finding out about it, so how long will it take before the little sprout becomes noticably a marijuana plant? i can already see the little ridged leaves forming (they are very little though). and finally, when is the absolute earliest time i could take them outside (i live in MD, and its still a mix of cold and warm up here). any thoughts?

Get some grow lights and 2 8 ounze(or gallons?) pot. Transplant the sprouts when they are slightly bigger, than use some cheap grow lights to finish them off, For like 20 bucks canadian you can get some florescent worklights, they are 2 tubes, get the 40 Watt ones, with 3200 lumens each, and use that, last time I checked Im sure 6400 lumens can grow 2 plants. Anyone else know if Im right or wrong?

oh sorry I didnt read the entire ending lolz, they can be transplanted when they are starting to produce leaves and the stem has gotten fatter, about 1 to 1.5 foot tall in Vegetive should do, then you can transplant it outside when the last frost is over and the tempreture is warming up.they will be noticable soon enough so be careful.

get them seperated quicktime before the roots get all mad tangled up, even if you just put them all in those little cups for now - the longer you leave it the more root growth you'll have, the harder it'll be to seperate them

thats some serious stretch on that tall one! they will keep stretching until you get light sorted

best of luck, thats exactly how i started, except i started them in the garden!

    thanks for the input man

right now for light i am using...the sun. through those blinds you see in the picture. should i just keep doing that or should i shut the blinds and just leave it sitting in my room away from the window just using a light in my room?

The weaker or further away your lights are...the more strech. You need to increase your light power. If you continue this method your plants will get very weak...you will need to get a fan on them to strengthen the stems!

i leave mine outside to get sun and there is a great breaze here....always....and u can just see how strong it got by letting the wind blow it. It strengthens the stem allowing more buds to flower with out tipping over.....think of how a bud would hold up on the top or ur plants ......just like other plants wind is natural and it helps build strong stems.
