Clitoris Piercing

Was not sure if to ask here, but it didn't seem a sex/love question to me..
I've been thinking of getting a pirecing at my clitoris. I'd like to hear from any women who've had an intimate piercing. What's it been like? Is the pain worth it? Would you recommend it or not?

 

well, I dont have such a piercing, but a friend of my did... she recommends getting stoned before you get one, because it hurts. she got it out after a few weeks, because she came (dont know if this is the right word in english) everytime she rided her bice or walked up/down the stairs...
but my friend knows someone else who's really having fun with it... hers didnt really hurt and she sais the sex is better...

 

I had mine done when I was 18. It wasn't bad at all. Nipples piercing hurt more...

The only annoying thing is if the hoop gets twisted (the skin down there is really flexible). So it can sometimes be uncomfortable. And some women are so sensitive down there that it is always uncomfortable...

Do you have any specific questions about it? PLEASE make sure to go to a reputable piericer if you get it done.

 

yeah, like sera said, going to an excellent piercer is extremely important.

if it's not pierced correctly, you can lose all sensation in your clit.

if it is done correctly, it can enhance sensations, although also bear in mind that if you're clit is real sensitive, it might be over-stimulated.

 

oh man, i dont think i could get my clit pierced....Not that it can hurt, (sure will) but i'd be playing with it all the time hehehehehe....

I've always heard that it's better to get the hood pierced instead of the clit as far as piercing down there goes. Is that at all safer as I've heard? My old roomie had hers done. She said it still hurt like hell and she almost kicked the piercer in the face, but she didn't regret it. She also said that after she had it done she'd nearly have an orgasm just walking up stairs.

 

I got my hood pierced when I was 18 (the area right above your clit). I don't remember it being too too painful.....I did eat a few xanax's before going though It healed I think faster than any other piercing I've ever had and I've never had any problems with it. And it *can* do wonderful things for your sex life ~that rumour is TRUE! I recommend getting your hood done instead of your clit. I couldn't give you any specific reasons why off the top of my head (it's been so long since I got it done) but I do remember when I was thinking of getting my clit pierced friends of mine & the piercer told me to do the hood instead....I had just turned 18 and I was like "hood? what hood?"

 

It's the hood that gets pierced when people refer to clit piercings, not the actual clitoris. Too many nerve endings and it doesn't really show itself enough for most gals when they aren't stimulated to get it pierced.

anyways, my cousin pierced her own a few years ago. She also pierced her labia, one got infected so she took out all the piercings and it's healed over. Apparently the increased sensitivity stays around after the metal has been removed, though not quite as strong.

I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself. She was a crazy gal. Go to a really good piercing place, make an appointment to go over the procedure, cleaning methods, healing time, and to check out how clean the actual piercing parlour is before you make your appointment to get pierced, if possible.

Personally, it's not something I would ever get done. But it's really up to you. I got my nipples pierced last month, and that really freakin hurt, I couldn't imagine getting my clit/hood pierced.

Like another poster mentioned, riding a bike or even going up and down stairs can be really stimulating. Possibly too stimulating.

 

hmmm maybe piercing the hood, rather than the actual clit, takes away the chance that you might lose sensation in your clit? i don't know, thats my guess..

i've always wanted to get that done, but i'm not old enough yet, i just got my nipples periced the other day. they hurt alot, and i'm good with pain. my friend said that they looked deep, but that is good so then if they migrate they won't rip out, which is what happened to her (eek!). Ya well if anyone is too scared to get their clit or hood down i would recommend getting their nipples done, it does hurt but i can tell that it's going to be worth it.

 

I would love to have it done... But NO!!! I would be to afraid to do it...

 

A friend of mine got her clit pierced because she was un-able to orgasm. She went through all the pain and still has never had one, so she took it out. (poor girl)
Another friend of mine got hers pierced and she took hers out because she would cum so easy! She would ride a bike or even just sit down and she would get all wet! lol
So I guess, in the end, do what you think. If you don't like it, take it out!

I had mine pierced years ago.... almost 10 years ago now, as I was 17 when I did it. It was the hood that was pierced, not the actual clit.

It didn't hurt that bad. It was actually simular to piercing an earlobe... I found ear cartilage and nipple piercings to hurt much more. The actual piercing didn't hurt at all, it was the insertion of the ring into the hole that caused pain, and it was only for a second and was more of a pinch than full-blown pain. And the guy gave me a lollypop after for being a "big girl"... hehe.

My piercing got infected once, which was because I actually tore it abit one night jumping onto a friends back for a piggy-back ride. I slid down his back and caught it on a belt loop. I treated the infection by shaving the area, using a disenfectant, some antibacterial cream, and keeping it lightly bandaged to avoid excess rubbing.

It did improve my sex life. I don't know if it was because the clit was more visable, or because of the extra stimulation provided by the ring. Or it could have just been that I was more sensitive. As the years went on, the sensation seemed to diminish... I just got used to it being there.

If you do get pierced, be careful wearing pants without underwear, as it can get caught and pull on the in-seam. Also, one of my partners had a tongue stud, and studs and hoops don't always go well together; things can get caught. And, I never really enjoyed the metal-on-metal thing... weird vibrations.

I took it out last year. I had it for so long that I really don't remember what things were like without it... but the quality of ogasms didn't change.
