    Hey Aspargus,

I used to have a Vespa Cosa 200cc..
    4 gears..electric+kickstarting system..
2 takt motor..speed was rather limited..
    Now I drive a Suzuki 400 motorscooter..
    great machine..takes me from A to B..
    at good speed and comfort..
    It's a 4 takt..one cylinder..34pk..
    speed 145km/h..
speed limit in Belgium=120km/h on highway..
I have got lots of motorbike friends..
One of them on Hayabusa Suzuki..speed=320km/h..
    waaaaaaaaaaaaaw......that's fast:)

I recently bought a scooter that I have been wanting for a few years now. I LOVE it! Riding is so much fun but I see the dangers as well.

Due to some circumstances I may be traveling from California to Tennessee and I want to take that scooter. It is a BMS Heritage 150 or Lance is a alternative name as well as a few others.

I want to travel up the coast of cali to San Fran to see some relatives and may stay over for a while at the Grand Canyon. Eventually I want to go to Denver to stay with some friends there and then make my way back down to Tennessee. I expect a couple of months, I plan on taking a couple of changes of clothes , a small tent, sleeping bag, and some food, maybe a stove.

Any advice would be great if you have it. I do worry considering this is a 150 cc scooter, chinese model at that but plan on taking extra parts.

Say hi if you like, long time two-wheeler here, along the coast north of you. Might have a few suggestions and pointers, a few long trips under my belt.

    Peace :sunny:

Hi Sunny! I tried to send you a message but I don't think I have enough privilege yet. I would like to go north up the hwy 101 coast to San fran soon, any advice you could offer would be great. I haven't gotten a solid path beat out yet but am doing some research to see where I want to land.

Hey, ya I'm not sure how many posts it takes, hit me on my user page, i think you can do that anytime.
Advice #1 tho... hwy 1 would be better than 101, depending on your perspective. One of the best in the country. :2thumbsup:

I think it's open in Big Sur again, but maybe only at certain times.
