What happened to the youth movement?A new way,new ideas.We've grown up to be the same paranoid people our parents were.We come on to here talk about glory days.About how hip we were.Claiming to be hippies cause we did something once.It don't matter to me what I'm called.I never was a hippie,too young.I was old enough to see the hyprocity though.Just another generation,a bit more spoiled than the last.
it's all that pot LOL sorry...but anyway I don't know why but its much easier to become jaded and cynical then it is to stay possitive and have a good outlook. Thw more we experience negitvity the more jaded we bacome and ignorance breeds parinoia and the government tries as hard as it can to keep us ignorant. I know that sounds parinoid but is it really.
I don't know where y'all have been, but there are enlightened ones about everywhere. They are in the country living off they land, they are in the factories making a living, They are in the schools teaching the young. They are in the main stream paying off their homes. Raising their kids and grandkids. They are here in the forums, A lot of us are already on the otherside, waiting. We have faught and we have strived for peace. I hear ones ask why did you stop, we didn't but we do have to make a living and pay taxes on the land, we have to provide our kids with clothes and food and we have to pay for all this. We have to work and who ever said work was not acceptable. We all work in our own way, We all have jobs. Even if that job is to mearly bath and comb your hair. We deserve to have a pleasent retirement. Or should we contenue till we drop so that your lives will be easier. This is a time for us olduns to sit back and reap what we have sown. We hand this over to the young to carry on. Some do but there are some that just whine and want more and more, without have earned their right of passage, or learn to pulled their load themselves. There are also Others that spend their energies on making a place for others to come and grow, to live off the land and become what we all are clamoring for Freedom and Peace. I keep hearing what happen to the old hippie? We are here, we are doing.
nothing wrong with that it just sounds like our parents.Enlightenment used to be called wisdom.We are now our parents,no different.
The most spoiled druggie of all (whom I would never call a hippie) is now a "revolutionary" seeking the destruction of democracy, the Constitution, and social programs and the glorification of crony capitalism, fascism, and indentured servitude to banks.
my generation laughs at hippies. we are tought and shown that peace and love is foolish outlook, look at those funny hippies, look at how dumb those pot heads are haha im not really laughing. its sad. I strive for it myself, or at least try to, and try to spread it to my friends
Why are we so worried about setting a new style of youth? And why does it even have to have anything to do with youth? Youth is too over-rated! The only reason people get paranoid is because they worry about petty little things such as age. Chill out, be the best person you can be and dont worry about setting trends.
