    Hi everybody,

Has anyone seen any other barefooters lately? Getting into April is about the time they start to appear. It's also a good time of year because women start to wear their new sandals, and wind up walking barefoot because they hurt.
I'm going to be starting evening college classes in a few weeks. I'm probably going to wear flip-flops to class, but take them off and walk around the school barefoot on coffee breaks and such.
Might even show up without them one day.

    M.

sweetie, you don't even have to wear shoes into the classroom! No one cares! :D

I actually go into all classes without my shoes...and no one has ever said anything to me. :D

Just my own lonesome self, though I have seen some sandal wearers. It's still early here though, we've only had a handful of "warm" days (warm being 50 degrees or so). So soon enough there should be more of us out there.

I just started a new job Monday and surprisingly enough, one of the 5 other people in my training class was a barefooter. We ended up going for a hike right after work to break in the new spring season. It is great to go hiking with a fellow barefooter once in awhile. Can't seem to talk any of my friends into taking off their shoes and making themselves at home outside.

No barefooters in town or anything -they're really rare here anyways, just a few in the eight years I've been barefoot myself & been watching for them- but at Archeon several colleagues are barefoot or part-time barefoot already, even though it's still a little chilly. I'm hardly ever the only barefooter there, even in early spring & late fall.

I would go barefoot to class but i gotta have shoes for when i go on the bus so it isnt practical to put on/take them off everytime between the classroom and the bus. My classes usually start and end close to when the bus leaves so I have little time to use the restroom much less take off or put shoes on.

Well hey, I don't know if this counts, but I was walking my dog today and saw some kid (16 or 17) getting into his car barefoot. He saw me too, and I of course was also barefoot :)

Just wear sandals, then you can slip them on and off with ease. Also, it is not that hard to get on a bus barefoot. Most bus drivers are not looking at your feet. If they do complain flash your shoes and tell them you will put them on once you sit down, so you don't hold up the bus. I have never been told I could not get on yet.

Yeah, I dont have any sandals, I guess I could get some eventually. I've only been challenged by a bus driver for being shirtless and even then those drivers are few and far between. I dont know if the driver would care about being held up though, they hold up the bus whenever it suits them and they complain the rest of the time theyre held up when they actually dont wanna be. Im sure they wouldnt see me if I was barefoot though.

I was at the supermarket yesterday, and saw a lady in her 30s with 3 kids, and all of them (both mom and kids) were barefoot. Also saw a barefoot girl filling up her car at the gas station a couple days before.

I think I'm the only one in this area that's a barefooter.

Saw a couple people bf in a park last week. A guy playing football with his friends, a guy flying a kite and a teenage girl doing cartwheels in the grass. Otherwise not too many barefooters in my neck of the woods, folks here have a love affair with flip flops, but not barefooting.
