can we please get back on topic here this is not a serious thread, please do not discuss anything serious in it and i think hippyfreaks vote for naykidape was a good idea. im going to follow suite and cast my vote for him
yet you seem to point a finger at the religion itself, when in fact religion isn't the true problem. there's no need to get rid of it. getting rid of religion won't get rid of the fucked up people in this world. there's really no solid arguement that ridding the world of catholicism would do a damn bit of good.
heh - if that's true Matt, than I'm sorry for my rant. Its just that your first post was either entirely fecicious or it came off to me anyway as you were pointing your finger directly at Catholicism and staing an opinion that the world would be a better place without it.
Its sad... But he's made it to the ripe old age of... Well, I don't feel like looking it up, but hes had a nice long popedom. Seems like he's been a pretty good pope... or at least he hasn't started any wars or anything.
Where did I say anything about getting rid of Catholicism? I am not pointing my finger at the religion itself as much as I am some of the people that are really high up within the Catholic church. It goes way beyond pedophilia, too. It's hard to really understand what I am talking about unless you have looked into the hidden history of Catholicism and the Vatican, which many people have not.
I want the Reverend Naykid. Although I doubt his dreads would fit under that funny hat... We could have his robe tie-dyed, too...
They've just announced on the news that Pope John Paul II has died. I didn't always agree with his policies, especially since I'm not Catholic, but I always admired his hard work toward world peace and improved relations among the world's religions. He was not one to maintain the status quo, at least in some areas. I hope his replacement will maintain his good work and bring about even more change.
My apologies, the Vatican is denying earlier reports that he had died, they now say he is "clinging to life". It's as if the Pope wanted to play one last April Fool's joke on us all!
