It just got above 60 this last week in Iowa for the year and I decided to go the day unshod. Well, needless to say it was very freeing and feeling all of the different textures, from grass to concrete to marble inside of some of my school buildings. No one even gave me any weird looks, and being in a rather conservative area I was surprised. I think I am going to do it some more.
Thats great. Dispite the way some people might act and what they might say I really dont think that many people will notice or even care if youre barefoot or not, its getting to the point where its pretty normal someplaces.
he's a freshman...Poor guy parks at the stadium....Sucks to be him right? I wouldn't give up my uni for that one...Truman State is small and kinda laid back...but he can drink so maybe I would...hehe
I am from Iowa and just wanted to say hey to my fellow Iowa hippies. I did go to ISU as well, didn't graduate from there, but I went there.
That is great Squirrel. You dont get any comments? Your feet must get pretty dirty after your shift. Cheers Mo
I can't do the whole shift barefooted. If I get caught, I'm fired. However, what are the chances of the manager walking in at three in the morning?
That sounds kind of severe! Is it company policy that you must wear shoes behind the desk? What's the wose thing that can happen if a patron saw you barefooted? After all, they are just there for a brief stay. Super 8's are decent and clean, but on the other hand it's not a five star hotel.
I don't know. Super 8 is a terrible company to work for, though. They're just grouchy. They won't even let us wear sandals. Damn them.
