Wakarusa. Questions need answers

1. where can you stay if u dont what to pay for a camp ground. Or is it worth the money for the camp ground.

2. at the gate how thoughly do they search you do they like empty out all your bags and search your car.

3. Is thier parking some where.

1. As far as I know camping is included in the price of the tix. From what I hear the campground is pretty cool plus its on the Wakarusa River so you can go for a swim if ya get too hot or need to chill out.


2. I'm betting that they just look in you car to make sure no one sneaks in without paying. There'll be something like 10,000-20,000 people at Wakarusa and it would take way top much time to do a "police style" search of every car. BE AWARE! I'm not 100 % sure on this so ask around on the forum on the wakarusa website.

3. You camp next to you vehicle.

 

Camping is included in the price of the tickets. And you will want to camp amongst the kind heady people cuz it's one big party. My car was packed full of camp gear last year and they never searched anyone that I had talked to. See ya there. I got my tickets the day they came out!
