First Babydoll dress I ever made!!

    i just made this today, i kinda just guestimated at cutting and sewing on it, never made one before but its kindof a babydoll mini summer dress thinggy with a jerry garcia patch on it!! does anyone have any tips on making these for futur refrence????????????????????

    so cute and sexy, love it mama!

    Maybe next time put a drawstring in the back so it doesn't stick out like that...

    it's awsome though funky, mind if I kinda steal the pattern idea but make it longer?

    no steal away =) i will definately note the drawstring idea, i looked and thought about elastic after i was done but didnt wanna ruin it LOL thanks so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    The gaping in the back shouldn't be too hard to fix...Other than that, it is sweet!

    when making the front panel, remember it has to be slightly longer to accomodate shaping in the dress.
    Its beautiful! I love the colours

    nice work =) a little piece of elastic would totally take care of the loose material in the back. i've used both elastic on that little section and drawstring all the way around the middle, and in my opinion, the elastic is much more comfortable. drawstring is fine with me on pants but not there.

    For that gaping in the back would use a contor dart....just pin fit it till it lays the way you want and then sew it.
