Mitch Hedberg comedian dead

Last night in NJ of a drug overdose. Comics I know and people around him have confirmed. News about it should be out soon, but just wanted to give the heads up.

This is not a joke. News about it should be coming out soon. He will be missed.

Im soooooo sad..he was by far my favorite comedian...

is he the one that had the joke like, "at night, i used to lay on my twin sized bed, and wonder where my brother was." ????

woah, it is!!! that's crazy!!!! he was so funny, this sucks.

That is crazy. I was just watching his "comedy central presents" episode and then when it was over it said "mitch hedberg 19something to 2005" I was like WTF so i had to get online to confirm it. I hope this isnt some cruel april fools joke.

 

Another Hippy Bites the Dust

He died of a congenital heart problem. They are still unsure if his death was drug-related.

 

yea i thought he died from heart failure, i read he was born with a heart defect. but still those drugs didn't help.

but this sucks, i was going to see his show the next time he came around here

 

.....i watched him on comedy central 2 nights ago, he was my fave as well

 

Apparently at one point during his last show he lay down behind the curtain and told jokes for about ten minutes. It's good to see he was still doing great shit like that, I'm going to miss him.

 

I didn't think he was all that funny but, it is ashamed that he died so young. I heard he was going to have a show on HBO.
