Anyone dig 'em? I'm going to see him (them??) tomorrow, and I really don't know much him at all. I've only started exploring hip-hop very recently, I used to hate it when I was a kid (mostly because the only hip-hop I heard was crap like Puff Daddy, oh I'm sorry P-Diddy,LOL, and Mace) and my friends convinced me to come along to the show, saying he's one of the best underground lyricists out there. What do you guys think? Which songs are most worth checking out?

i've only heard a bit, but it's pretty good shit. some of the best rap there is for middle-class white intellectual types. you can listen to some stuff on his website. not nearly as produced and easy on the ear as most mainstream hiphop, but once i listened to it for awhile it really grew on me.

see, this thread has no other posts on it, and there are like 2 fucking morrison/doors threads on this page? ridiculous.

cool, cool, I'm excited. I hope they're not too uptight at this venue, it being primarily a catering hall and not a concert venue. I hope they don't mind a bit of spliffin

i saw aesop, by accident mind ya, and i heard his cd about 2 years ago or something. by far, he is the gayest person i ever heard trying to rap, right along with Sage Francis. this kind of shit isnt rap people, its the same thing as emo but with a little more talent, but not that much more.
