Hey all! I just got Catch-22 and I'm about to start reading it. Does anyone have any opinions concerning the book? Just wondering what I'm getting myself into, lol. Oh, and please don't give away the ending. -Kate
I found it to be extremely hilarious, I actually laughed out loud. It was also a very interesting read. Definitely enjoyable.
I thought it was brilliant! It is very weird at times, sometimes even a bit sad, but always hilariously funny. Enjoy!
i ahve the book resd almsot half of it havnt read it since. its a great book im just not consistent. and i think it did make me laugh out loud. actually i remember it did. i was lying in my bed my roomate was annoying me because i was laughing. read it its good BE CONSISTENT
It is one of the best books in the world. I would put it in the top 20. Just remember, no matter how crazy the book gets, every craziness reflects something that actually happens in the real world. That's what really makes it funny. I think you will fall in love with the characters...Yossarian, Dunbar, McAllister...their nutty behavior makes them seem more real than 'real' people, if you know what I mean.
Read it! Then read it again! It's gonna seem horribly confusing the first time through and more than likely, you are going to miss some big things. So read it again. This book is possibly one of the best I have ever read in my entire life. I have read it a total of 23 times. Everytime it gets better, and everytime, its like visiting friends that I havent seen in a very long time. Did you know Catch-22 in italian is situazione senza soluzione?
