Does anybody like The Pretenders? I'm a big fan of theirs, and I just think that Chrissie Hynde is awesome.
to be honest i'm kind of annoyed by them because my dad is always blasting them in the basement and it just gets old after a while.

their 3 first lp (1979,1981,1982) are more punk rock or new wave for the third one...there's a risk in their music ...this is their 3 best for me...they never were more dangerous than in their beggining... Sadly their original guitarist die of overdose in 1981 then the bassist died from electrocution in 1983. Then in the mid 80's the band became more radiophonic and popular ...it still good but i love better when they played over the edge of rock'n roll!
