Even if you are not in the US, please sign the petition as the destruction of the ANWR affects Canada also. Canada is completely against this impending disaster. They share that part of the world and will be affected too.
It'S NOT WORTH the destruction to such a beautiful land and people, not to mention the wildlife. Start making it known that you want alternative energy sources developed. The SUN is free. The technology is there!

There is no need to line the pockets of the corporate land rapists.

I hope everyone will please take a couple minutes to watch this film clip. It is amazing and well worth your time. Then send a letter to your senator at the link provided. Again, it doesn't matter if you are in or outside the US. Please let the US administration know you are against drilling the ANWR. It will be at least 10 years and millions of dollars later before we see any oil.

The are viable alternative solutions. Please help.

Isn't there something else we could do? It's kind of a big place to go sit in, so I don't think that would work, but there must be something, right?

Letting your senators know how you feel and emailing the oil on ice video to everyone you know along with the link to the senators is a good start. Voices have to be heard and very quickly.

The more your reps know how we feel, the more substantiated proof they have to sway the vote. This is coming up very quickly. Need everyone to put in their input to the government so they can vote for us.

Bush snuck this in so quickly that NRDC, (National Resource Defense Council) and the rest of the groups fighting to save the ANWR didn't have much chance. There is only one more final vote by the senate on this. Please spread the word and the links as fast as you can. It comes up for a vote in just a couple of weeks!!
