Another one of my weird habits:

Does your ear ever itch inside, but so far down that you can't reach it with your finger? If so, what do you do in this instance? I have no idea where I picked this up, but I always rub the back of my tongue along my top teeth on the side of the itching ear.

Oddly enough, this works wonderfully...all i'm doing is scratching my tongue, but it's the ear that itches. Perhaps i'm somehow shifting my earlobe or something? It could possibly be like the chewing action, and it does something to your ears >hence, chewing gum to keep your ears from popping when traveling in a hilly area, or on an airplane<

  2. I pull the lobe

i can honestly say i have never thought of that before.

maybe this has to do with acupuncture? u kno, how when u hit certain spots in your body it relieves other spots on your body.
after all, if it itches somewhere its a physical reaction to tell u its gonna hurt soon if u dont scratch

yes. I get those itches all the time. Not just in my ear. Everywhere on my body. I also feel sudden pains like a bee sting or bite and nothing is there.

I know what you're talking about!!!

Try scratching your throat (Not with your fingers, of course!)

I'm sure you know what I mean by that...Sometimes people make these croaking noises in their throats in order to stop an itch in their throats, or in my case, my ear.

did you hypothesis that yourself? i dunno about you but scratching things usually doesnt prefent them from hurting, just prevents me from going insane, and in fact can lead to pain
