Like my title said - OPINION - so please don't sue me or cut my hot water at home if you disagree...

    Sure, 911, ect...

    Where are we now though?

The World sittuation is very complicated because of complexity of the players. Arab extemists want to make things fall into Muslinman vs Jesus Christ - while modern civilization extemist bring it down to only America wants their oil.

I think there is a little both of these in the problem but, it's also about irreconcible differences of the "clans". There is a lot more to Bush than simply Bush the president. His family (and many of his "employees") have had dealings with the people they call today terrorists.

The tension that we live everyday as individuals - wether we feel discriminated, psychologically harrassed are also applicable to countries amonst themselves.

Why is it America, Canada, Europe and other countries simply find it easier to deal with each other? Modern countries that have the same needs, will try harder to find a common grounds. When you deal with arab countries (like them with us) we feel that they are in some respects aliens. We have difficulties grasping some of their concepts.

The US, Canada, and Europe all share a relatively common history and culture. When you deal with a society that doesn't allow women to vote, treats non-muislims as second class citizens and holds pogrom-type demonstrations, you tend to think of that society as "alien". Or at least different. We have trouble grasping their concepts because their concepts violate what we consider "social justice."
