Has anyone swam in the Mississippi River before?

But I've walked along it at night. =)

I mighta jumped in, only it was tooooo cold..

 

Wouldn't be too cold in the summer.

yick, thats the nastiest water on the planet. i was tempted, but no, thats gross, plus since its all held back by concrete, it makes the current too dangerous, im pretty adventurous, but the mississippi is a deathtrap.

Yeah, they can go in freshwater. They have bulls in the mississippi.
