I had a dream about The Ring 2 a week or so ago. I was watching it with a film critic friend (who I only knew in the dream, I don't know anybody like him in real life). He mentioned something about the girl who does the voic for the girl in the film is different to the actor. Like how David Prowse played Darth Vader, but someone else did the voice.

I've only seen the japanese version of the ring, it was really dissapointing. I kept waiting for something horribly scary to happen, and then it ended. Don't think i'll bother with the 2nd one.


Has anybody seen Zatoichi? fucking brilliant film.

 

the japanese ring is supposed to be scarier than the american...

 

which one? the most recent or one of the 22 odd others preceding it?

 

I work in a movie theater, so I've gotten to see bits and pieces of The Ring 2. It made me laugh ^.^

There is a pay phone right outside the theater it was playing in on opening night, so when the movie ended some coworkers and I called the payphone and when someone answered said "seven days..." All the people started to bug out. It was great.

 

Someone I used to work with said she'd seen the Japanese and American versions of The Ring, and the American one was scarier.

 

erm, not too sure. I think it may have been the original.
