I love art, but I'm terrible at drawing and painting. I have no talent whatsoever. But I really want to draw something that is halfway decent. Any suggestions on stuff that looks cool but takes little to no skill to draw?

I suggest a really nice polygon. A good circle is nice too, but don't over-do it now.

I can't draw prety well now, because I went to still life/life drawing classes and learned. You might try that.

tracing is easy, or you could try mixed media or abstract sculpture

Try drawing simple shapes, you know spheres, cubes, cylinders, pyramids, toruses - donuts (tori?), etc. When you get comfortable with your abilities, you'll start to notice (you probably already have noticed) that these shapes, or variations of these shapes, appear in nature, in everything.

go wild! create! make something, be it finger paint or collage, poetry, music or all of them, art is more than drawing....a lot lot more, just make something, that reflects a meaning.

Try the book Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain. That, among other things, helped me to improve my drawing skills.
