Ive been hearing from alot of people lately that the LSD drought of the late 90's/early new milluniem is over. What is your opinion on this? i think things are starting to look up mostly because over the past couple months ive seen some dank blotter move through my area.
Acid was dry during that time period because once jerry was gone a lot of the lsd runners went to phish. Then phish broke up, and nobody was running the lsd caravan. The lag from then til now for l to come back, in my opinion, is probably the fact that they had to rethink the distribution strategy.
ive been seeing alot more acid in my area lately... only problem is that its 10 to 15 dollars a hit... and its not that good, so it cost u a fortune just to trip.
i don't know and Im not trying to gripe but dont you guys think acid is too dangerous. I mean I would rather do shrooms if anything. I don't know what jerry Garcia has to do with it though man I mean yeah he probably used it. (it's not like I knew him lol i wish) but is that waht he died of. I'm sorry for being such a numb skull on that subject I could go into a long story about my deprived childhood that would explain why I don't know more about the Dead, but I just wanted to add that Acid could be a bit on the dry side becasue it is actually pretty dangerous. But don't get mad at me because I am not judging you guys. I mean do what you want it's your brain.
i really dont think it was because of the bands man =\ apparently (i dont want to be mystifying either), but apparently there were major busts and such, which i believe was due to government making a major point to damper specifically lsd distrobution and use, at the time... the government doesn't like us doing lsd, and it's not because it's unhealthy, physically... i believe. i just rescently got my hands on lsd for the first time, never having any access to it remotely in YEARS. i remember in 9th grade, i was offered it from a friend, but didn't take him up on it. Over the years of completely dryness in southflorida (at least in my reach), i got into tripping, but still never having lsd. within the last few months, i heard of two opportunities to get lsd, and took one up, and GOD was it amazing. Apparently it's coming around again, and i'll be given a heads up, so i'm happy =). i dont know if it's coincidence, or that acid truly is being produced a little bit more. i truly think it'd be an AMAZING time for mankind, and not only because many people would be having fun trippin. we will accomplish a LOT, write a LOT, and right a LOT. i hope it's coming back,
i think the acid scene is dead, but i dont know. i see shrooms everywhere, but i dont think its very easy to get real cartoon acid. then again, i dont live close enough to a major city to find it, just out in the forest.
I think that the craze for acid, the one that made people happy and carefree and strong was over decades ago. I don't think it will ever make a huge comeback. Who can profit from making LSD now? MDMA or MDA is much easier to make and can sell for a lot more. LSD may come back in the sense that someone might make a shitload of it, but you'll never see the prices drop to what they used to be 5 years ago. Why should they? People have proven they are desperate enough to pay 15 buck a hit. If it comes back it will have to be "in" with the chemists again. It has nothing to do with certian bands or music or that scene. It's all about who's going to make it and how much and how pricey.
Originally people who followed the grateful dead around in large part did help distribute LSD all over the country from the san francisco bay area. Same kind of thing happened with phish tour, but to a much lesser extent. Likewise, there was a bust within the last few years in wampego (sp?) kansas, involing apherd, and pickardson, who were busted with 45 kilos or so of crystal. They were producing a kilo every other month or something like that I believe. They were not making good family lsd though, and were not washing it enough, thus having alot more of a poorer quality product. There are atleast 3 fully equipped lsd labs running around the world right now, but to the best of my knowledge, none of them are producing nearly as much as the apperson/pickard lab. So, basically, there are two problems. 1) Primarily, there is ALOT less lsd being produced then their used to be. 2) ALOT less people have access to the suppy in relation to the demand, in comparison to how it used to be, and this is in part caused by the end of the grateful dead, and phish. So, it is a mixture of things.
Acid seems to making a bit of a comeback around Australia. A year ago where I live acid was totally obsolete (sp?) and now if you look for it hard enough, its there.
So I hear, also it seems to be making a come back in parts of Europe. In the US I have only seen RCs sold as "acid" which still give quite a trip but don't come close to real LSD in terms of visuals. Friend of mine took 8 tabs of "acid" (I'm pretty sure it was 5-meo-amt) and he wasn't seeing a thing but he was talking like he had been a guru master his whole life lol.
My mother and I were talking about this latley and we both agree, yes, LSD is making a large come-back. I think it's about time, too!
well when the bust happened, everyone went on hiatus. the feds are getting closer to where the cooks are, but most of the old stock is burried till the heat wheres off. which isnt happening as soon as expected. yes australia probably has more L in circulation right now. but i think more of the domestic is being unburried in the past few years, as the feds are closing in on the cooks and have no idea how much or where anything is buried. i know a couple of the old school cooks feed themselves on karma and selling hemp necklaces right now, but everyonce in a while they can squat long enough to spin some off.
pickards bust had a large effect on the rest of the lsd community, because when arrested he offered many names in hopes of reducing his sentance. that was enough to scare other chemists into retirement.
yeah and didnt he somehow end up getting a longer sentence then like sandoz and another dude who wouldnt say a word??? i think it really says something about the lsd community, and 'the family' that toured with the dead like one guy mentioned, they truely thought they were doing the work of god, and in a sense i think they are completley right about that, and maybe they really were 'protected' by good intentions... its a shame the system they had running then is not working the way it did now, and now there is abunch of sketchy kids getting their hands on it making exponential amounts of cash compared to what the family used to make, you dont sell lsd like a normal drug or to make a lot of profits, you sell coke or something to do that, acids about spreading the love... and i dont know if acids making a comeback or not, im pretty sure its around but its definatley not plentiful or easily accessible like say mushrooms are, afaik anyway....
LSD. IT IS BACK. I promise. some good prints that are out, white unperferated hits in US, more dragons in US, purples hits and mushroom hits in canada, dilberts in australia
"i'll belive it when i see it" Coming from a man who stated before he took acid every day. Here How is it so easy to get acid EVERY single day then?
I've got pictures of green hits, and white unperferated blotter. Just because it hasn't reached your area of town doesn't mean its not around. Maybe the fact is that you have terrible to connections to LSD. You know, I never see meth. EVER. But that doesn't mean that meth doesn't exist; I just don't know anybody who has it. I do however know people with LSD. see my point? It will find you eventually.
