Good morning, I have been trying to put my finger on it for awhile and still may not quite have it down yet, but hopefully I have what's wrong down enough to express it well enough to convey it effectively so that someone may understand it and therefore someone else can give me some pointers. You know how when you get up in the morning, or evening, or whenever,you take a deep breath, shake for a minute, smile and get out of bed to start a new day? How the world is fresh and full of color? The birds are singing and all that bit? What if you had that and lost it? How would you go about getting it back? So far I've tried a lot of stuff, ignoring it(it comes back or just sortof gnaws at you, like a rat on a juicy rib), sucking it up and doing nothing(refer to last option), increasing my Buddhist practice(helpful but not really), working out until my arms give(that helps more), doing stuff with people(this also helps a bit), doing charity work(this also helps), dating(also helps a bit), smoking pot(yeah, it is a helpful thing, but even that isn't a total panacea), etc. It's like a growing dead spot in the middle of me. So, I'm hoping maybe someone here has had a similar experience that they've overcome and might be able to provide a hint. James Gentleman Adventurer In Training P.S.- If you want to flame, go ahead. So the question basically boils down to, how do you add a bit more color to your world?

Is ok. As I've said many times before. If this is the biggest hurt that happens today, I will definitely count it as a damned fine one. As I work in tech support, however, I kinda doubt this will be the case(though I do have a drum circle and weekend date, but I don't want to bore you with the gory details). Well, this is probably not what you're looking for, but yesterday it was horribly depressing, such a dreary day here. No sunshine, only a cold drizzle and dark, forbidding clouds. So, I had the bright idea to paint some artwork on some of the windows in my house. I gathered up my oldest son, his washable paints and paintbrushes, and we created a beautiful, colorful materpiece of springtime in every color of the rainbow. It brightened up such a gloomy day and we had a blast. Anyway.
I am sorry i mis read your post ..hahahahah change the font ??? i got to sleep at 5am so i am a bit foggy. I don't think i will be of much help to be honest anyway. anyhoo i speak with old friends and some people say i add colour to there life (mmmm well i think thats what they mean.. ) so PM me sometime and i will try and add a bit of colour to your life ..
Actually that's a fabulous idea. When my SO comes in today and I ask her about helping me put some color into my apartment. Thank you very much for your thought in the matter. It was not wasted James really seriously thinks that's a good idea. No joke. He just needs to figure out how to do that in an apartment. Washable paints, you say?
actually thats a good idea adding color to your posts will brighten your day. I don't use the color part becasue my pc is so old that it slows it down LOL but yeah it's a start. Also try to find things taht being joy to your day like i like to hike at my state parks, and consevation areas. You might like to do other things, try to bring things you love into your everyday life. That tends to brighten up the world. Hugs, gilli
