She's a forumer, I've known her for 3/4 years and I met her for the first time this weekend when I went to stay at hers. She's just as amazing as I always thought she was and a million times more beautiful in real life.

The sucky thing is, we have boyfriends and live three hours apart. Her boyfriend is worryingly ok with everything, but if mine knew he really wouldn't be (understandably).

I just got home and I miss her already. We could be so good for each other, I know it. I spent the whole weekend trying desperately not to fall for her completely. I guess some things aren't meant to be...I don't know whether to feel happy or sad that I've found the most wonderful person but can't be with her.

*sigh* I'm not sure why I'm posting this, I guess I just want to moan!

 

Ok, now I don't have a boyfriend, but the distance between us is still massiiiiiiiiiiiiiiive

Do you know how she feels about you? Sounds like she is a sweet heart. Maybe take the time to try to find out how her feelings are towards you, if she is into you as well, maybe it's worth persuing. The only caution i would have is that it's hard to make the long distance thing work.

Yep, that's her monosphere. I broke up with my boyfriend partly because of the weekend away because I learnt a lot about myself, but things had been dodgy for a while. He found out about her after I'd broken up with him and he never wants to speak to me again understandably!

Dmgreen - thanks for the advice. I don't think there's a cat in hell's chance of ever getting her, she has a boyfriend and a lot of admirers!

 

You're just talking about who likes her. But what about who SHE likes? IS it possible that she could have a thing for you? Might not hurt to find out.

 

I'd like to think so, after the events of the weekend. Asking her would just cause problems, especially considering that she's so far away.

 

Well, if it makes you feel any better, I was kinda in that same situation. Had a crush on someone in the forums. Met her when travelling across the globe. I was definitely attracted to her, but she has a boyfriend. Very cool guy. And seeing them together, they looked sooo happy. I would never want to get in the middle of that. Besides, I like the friendship I've built with her too much to jeopardize it over a fling, not that she's interested, but still...

oh! and i totally get you. i'm in the same situation (minus the boyfriends) with a girl who lives over 400km from me. it's not fun. i empathise. just spent half an hour on the phone to her giggling. aaaahhh! distance sucks!

 

She is beautiful! Not just looks wise either *sigh*...hopefully I'll see her in the summer but she's going on tour with her band so it won't be for very long Ohhhh it's so annoying! *Whines*...
