the other day, i scored some free condoms from the doctor. i had them just in my purse, until they almost fell out at work . i just didnt want them just laying around, so i thought it would be cute to make them there own special little holder. i used just basic red heart yarn, on a size 8 knitting needles. i made a long rectangle, using the stockinet stitch. when i got to the size i wanted, i just whipped stitch the sides together, and turned it right side out. i forgot to make a button hole, so im just using a safty-pin to keep it closed. very descrete and super cute! i want to make more of these and put little appliques and buttons on them.
that is so freakin cute! i have never seen that before. i want one! i dont know how to knit.. but maybe i could try crocheting it.. you should definitely make some with appliques!
yea, crochet would work just the same! super easy, just use single crochet, and use the same concept. make a rectangle and then stitch up the sides...
I made one of those the other day!!! Mine's a rainbow striped one and then I used a wooden button for the closing. Yours is cool as well!!!
hahaha man, that fucking rules. i remember when i took like 21 condoms from the health clinic and had to lug them in my purse like a prostitute. One of those woulda come in handy for sure!
Just make sure that the safety pin doesn't poke any tiny holes in them - That would seriously suck...
ya i thought about that.. im very careful tho.. dont want to waste them.. not that im ever gonna use them soon...
Hahaha...I thought the exact same thing. Hmm, I could use one of those too! For now, I put condoms in my glasses case when I need to tote 'em around and stuff...lol. Hmm, I should start crocheting one now...lol...
