I tried to make myself a bacardi on the rocks, filled the glass to the top with ice, poured on the bacardi which bounced off the ice all over the table (loadsa the stuff), not wanting to waist any as I'm broke and just spilt it all, I tried to lick it off the table.

I'm not really good at drinking spirits, and every time I sucked some up I shuddered. don't like the after taste. So in a moment of genious (I later descovered to be a moment of madness) I rubbed a piece of bread on the table, then ate it.

Bacardi soaked bread. Urrr, now I feel sick.

looks like you have to practice your pouring methods. i'm guessing you just opened the bottle and poured? if you did, then you have to pour slower, you have to have control over it.

the best part of your story - rubbing and soaking up a piece of bread and then eating it. ahahaha. thats classic.

but next time you want to have bacardi on the rocks, pour it slowly over the ice. its a good drink though, add a lime too if you want.
