I don't think I've seen any threads about dub on these forums! Is anyone in to it round here?

I dig some dub, but I'm more into ambient/experimental dub than the old-school reggae dub though. There's a psychedelic dub group from Denton, TX-- Sub Oslo-- that have put out some really amazing albums I just can't get enough of! http://www.suboslo.com
I'm also a big fan of some of the Ozric Tentacles' earlier dub-inflected material, and Bill Laswell's dub experiments as well...

Yeah, reggae dub. I'm really into the modern stuff as well, its all good. I saw Irration Steppas a little while ago and the bass was unbeleivable!

ha, I'll 3rd the IN DUB. That's one fine album. Bill Laswell has a chunky place in my collection as well. Dub Tribe has put on some great shows that I've been to. btw, gnombient, thanx for bringing up sub-oslo, checked em' out, diggin it. Always cool to be turned on to good music.
