Hey, My name is Nicolas Jackson and I hail from northern California’s aging hippie capital, Chico. As such, I suppose it's only natural that I would grow up to embrace the culture myself! The critical point came when I got my first cd play an cd's for my birthday. One cd was a live Nirvana Collection the other one was the classic Beatles Album SGT Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band! Needless to say, I found The Beatles to be much more enjoyable and spent the next few learning everything I could about the Beatles and the sixties and seventies. In the meantime, though, I found that I was taking a rather strong interest in computers and technology. As a result, I moved to Tempe, Arizona in early 2004 to study game design at the University of Advancing Technology. Moving to Arizona was quite a culture shock, however, I'm learning to deal with it. I'm hoping that joining this forum will let me meet a few people in my area who don't think I'm nuts! -Nicnacjak
Nope never heard of it, though I will look it up. Sadly the closet (and most particle) grub comes from that pesky chain of fast food around Arizona Mills. I'm gonna’ die at the age of 30 while supporting evil companies. Oh Joy.
you got a cd player and such for your birthdays, all I get are bread crumbs and paper sacks hehe Hello and welcome sir nicolas
Thanks guys. I drove through my Prescott on my way back from a day drive through Flagstaff and Sedona; very nice. From what I've seen northern AZ seems to be a world away from central and southern AZ. Too bad it's three hours away and all the way across the city! So Keanua are you actually from Chico or have you just visited? -Nicnacjak
For what it's worth they are still on my Ipod I just had to go through the music of the 50's, 60's,70's, and 80's to get back to it. All and all I think it took me a good ten years, not bad for covering 50 years worth of music!
